Sulfadimidine or sulfamethazine,1 is a sulfonamide antibacterial.
There are non-standardizeda abbreviations for it as "sulfadimidine" (abbreviated SDI23 and more commonly but less reliablyb SDD45) and as "sulfamethazine" (abbreviated SMT67 and more commonly but less reliablyc SMZ89). Other names include sulfadimerazine, sulfadimezine, and sulphadimethylpyrimidine.1
